Young Calf

"Young calf overcome by the realization of how small he is compared to the vastness of the stars."

Happy 4th of July everyone! This drawing is tiny, it's barely 3 1/2" x 4". I am unaccountably fond of tiny artworks. Maybe it's a practical thing cause I make so much art and I'd rather be able to move around in my room without stepping on them, but I suppose I also just like tiny things.

Speaking of tiny things, here's a link to my friend Molly Rausch and her stamp collection art! She's a sock blow-er-off-er. She takes postage stamps and expands the image using her own wit, skills and watercolors. It's pretty fun stuff. I think she also builds tree houses, and I heard that once she punched a badger in the jugular.

But keep cool everyone, and I'll see you next week, and by "see you" I mean I'll probably be looking in your windows late late Sunday night to see if you are checking for my new weekly blog posting.

Cause that's what I'll be doing. And that's what you should be doing.

I love her. I want to put her in a bag and smuggle her away to live happily ever after with me.
