This is my homage to sickness. These past couple of weeks I have been battling with a monster of an illness. I'm talking fever, dizziness, nausea, and the desperate desire to leave my body for a while. Luckily I finally got fixed up with the necessary medicine and am on the road to recovery. But lord Mr. Sick monster, did you have to shart on my birthday? On my birthday?! On top of that my boyfriend also got sick this week with a cold (different than me, as I had a fever). In the middle of summer! So in repayment I painted this unflattering portrait of the Sick Monster that so enjoyed his sloppy feverish and unwelcome visit with us.
On a different note, I was making these plush radishes today to sell down in Kingston at the Art Riot. If you haven't been there go and check it out! It is a building full of the creative imaginings of this area's artists, and everything is for sale! Follow them on Twitter or Facebook.
